Description
This report discusses the archaeological investigations performed at three sites in Marshall County and two sites in Pottawatomie County where it was suspected there were pioneer graves. All five sites were along the historic Oregon Trail. Two sites are cemeteries that were excavated specifically to locate the gravesites of pioneer emigrants.
