September 7, 2025 9AM – 4PM
El Pueblo History Museum and Trading Post
301 N Union Ave, Pueblo, CO 81003
Join the Oregon-California Trails Association (OCTA) for a day of community fun. We will have a full day of short workshops that will showcase artisans and skills of yesteryear and today. From emigrant period topics like emigrant sourdough, surveying, and trading post artisans to modern-day OCTA field mapping, gold panning, and metal detecting, there will be something for everyone. We will also have a free Introduction to OCTA community workshop for potential new members. Learn about OCTA and explore a new way of directly engaging with hands-on activities that enrich your knowledge of trades then and now and OCTA’s role in preserving Western emigrant trails.
Note that these workshops will be offered to the convention attendees, so space is limited. Please register early if you want to reserve a seat at the workshops before space runs out.
Note: No refunds after August 31, except in cases of hardship.
Non-member Community Workshop Registration
→ If you are an OCTA member, please register for the workshops within the OCTA Pueblo Convention Registration page only. This page is for non-member community registrations only.
